Made By Bees - "Slow Prototyping"

Part of Droog’s Smart Deco 2 show, Tomas Gabzdil Libertiny of Studio Libertiny created this Beehive Vase.

Libertiny made a vase-shaped hive that the bees then colonised, building a hexagon comb around it. The wax sheets used to make the hive were embossed with a honeycomb pattern to help the bees on their way.
Libertiny calls the process “slow prototyping” - it took 40,000 bees a week to make the vase. http://www.dezeen.com/2007/04/19/studio-libertiny-at-droog/

Very nice.

Graham Roumieu

This chap's work is tremendous. I've got a couple of books by him and I think I might buy a print shortly too. Take a look at his book "In Me Own Words - The Autobiography of Bigfoot". Tremendous. http://www.roumieu.com/

Samsung Portable Digital Projector

So, this is the first post in my new blog. This is project I worked on at Teague with Samsung. The project addresses issues that a Road Warrior encounters in his working life and is designed to make his day to day activities more efficient and enjoyable.
